Sangha Offering Ceremony 22nd July
Hi beautiful people!
There is going to be a Sangha Offering Ceremony on the 22nd of July at
our temple.
280, Guildford Rd,
Maylands
THAT is a ceremony where by we, as the lay people make our offerings
to the Sangha. (Order of the monks, but in our case nuns.) To show
appreciation and gratitude for what they have done for us so far.
There would be a ceremony, with the offerings. And there would be food
and performances.
All participants need to be seated in the Main Shrine of the temple by
10.15am
All members of the public is more then welcomed to participate in/
witness the ceremony.
However, it would be better to keep us informed if you are coming,
(let me know.)
just so the temple would be able to estimate and provide the
appropriate amount of food for the crowd.
The Young Adult division would now be involved by :
- Distributing lunch boxes to the crowd in the main shrine.
It has been decided that lunch would be prepared much earlier in the
day, They would be packed and ready for distribution by 10am in the
morning. But would be stored in foam boxes in the main shrine prior to
distribution.
All lunch boxes would be put in place before the commencement of
ceremony in the morning. (10.20)
Young adult division would also be involved in the Offering Ceremony.
All participants for offering ceremony would be dressed in red top and
blue jeans.
And all volunteers are required to arrive at the temple by 9.15 in the
morning.
thats all for now regarding the Sangha Offering Ceremony!
:D
Have a good week!
