Winter Sleepout 2009 (Woohoo!)

Hi all and welcome again to another year of merry fundraising for Mission Australia!

In August, we will be hosting a Winter Sleepout (aka WSO) sesh, whereby we 'voluntarily' put our hands up to sleep in the cold...on cardboard...in a car garage...outside of our temple. (ha ha very funny, I know you're laughing). BUT It's for a good cause! That's why yadders are going to such lengths.

You see Mission Australia helps raise money for the homeless an we are basically re-enacting the experience, so we feel what they feel.Okay OKay, it wont be as bad as you think. We're gonna have a BBQ, bring snacks and play games, so it'll be very cool!


This event to open to everyone, young or old, Buddhist or Non Buddhist! Please join us in raising money for Winter Sleepout. More details will be posted on the event. But of what we know so far...
